human trafficking

Human trafficking is a world problem that is only getting worse, people are sold for sexual usage or manual labor ruining the lives of endless numbers of people. Most people don't think about it but anyone is in danger of trafficking and it needs to stop. We shouldn't have to live in fear of going somewhere alone, somewhere that might have someone planning on taking you. Yes i know it sounds like the movies but some of them are based on true stories and can very much happen. It's scary to think about but some people are just crazy.

  1. Yes, I completely agree with you. It isn't just in other countries either. In, fact last Tuesday there were two people just 116 miles from the Capital who were arrested for trafficking two girls in their twenties. Someone, or some country should take a step up to combat these crimes.

  2. I am researching human trafficking and i agree that it is a very real and global problem. I hope more people will become aware that you are correct and it is not just something out of a hollywood movie but something that should be formally adressed.

  3. I didn't choose this for my research topic, but I still think it's terrible. I agree with you that it's sad we can't go out in public alone anymore without being afraid that someone will take us. This is becoming an increasing problem and something needs to be done.

  4. To counter this problem we first need to analyze the areas where this is most common, then address the situation from there by first teaching parents and children skills on staying safe, then have personnel keep watch for these traffickers.

  5. I am researching human trafficking and i feel that it is a huge global problem. The thing is that nobody is truly helping. The US just tells other countries that they are doing terrible with preventing, while we are having the same problem, just we have the resources to prevent alot of it. We (the US) recognize the country's prevention flaws yet, we turn our cheeks the other way and offer no help to get them out of their current standings.
i found this website very helpful.
