Human Rights in North Korea
Human rights in North Korea almost don't exist in the country any more. North Koreans ae restricted and are forced to have limited knowledge of the outside world. All radio stations, newspapers, and magazines that are foreign are completely forbidden in North Korea. All of the people must follower their leader, Kim Jong-un. All church sermons are restricted to preach about the leader, not god. Anyone who tries to leave North Korea and is caught, will either be killed or put into their 'Political' camps, (most would know these camps by, Concentration camps). If one is caught in a crime, not only the committee but his/her spouse, children, and even grand children to the camps as well. this practice is called, Three Generation of Punishment. North Koreans hardly have and human rights anymore, and a famine is also slowly spreading across the country. IF we could help these people, why are we not helping them? Is there anything we can really do? Innocent North Koreans are dying everyday for another's wrong act, and end needs to be put to it.

This is very interesting. I'm doing the human rights violations in China and they are bad but nowhere near this bad. I think this topic is so interesting and I'd love to learn more!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a human rights topic, I have Russian Orphanages. But to be quite honest with you, in my research, I'm seeing some similar characteristics in the treatment of these children to those North Koreans. It amazes me how cold someone has to be to do such horrid things to others.
