Hello! I've been researching Guantanamo Bay and the torture going on within the prison. As many of you know, yesterday the CIA released a report on torture methods being used. How do you feel about what is going on and what is your opinion on Guantanamo? Is it beneficial or does it need to be shut down for good?

Honestly, I think the United States should pull out. The countries in the U.N. have an agreement that no one country should subject people to torture. This CLEARLY violates that and puts a black mark on the U.S. So before this can get worse and Cuba decides to strike we should just pack up and leave.
ReplyDeleteI think that we definitely need to get out of Cuba and put an end to the torture because it violates human rights and the Geneva Convention, but I also think we need a humane place to keep terrorists to prevent future attacks.

ReplyDeleteThis would be probably the best if you were wanting to find the torture methods, the worst is probably Isolation over an extended period of time. They're all good sources since the listed techniques vary.
