Human Trafficking
The topic i have been researching has been terribly awful. From reading about it more human trafficking is a disgusting thing. I've been reading more on the sex slave side more than the drug or labor side. I found this story about a girl name Srey. She was sold by her family at the age 6 in cambodia. I found the story disgusting. It breaks my heart that little girls are trafficked all over the country. I have 2 little sisters about her age, so this story goes to heart. Yes there are hotlines and fundraisers to help these people, but will it ever be able to save over 23 million people?

I am also doing human trafficking. Mine is in South Africa, and there was this woman that actually stood up for herself, made a poster, and everything. It may not of worked But now she is known for what she did.
ReplyDeleteI also read the story of Srey, and honestly it made me nauseous. I couldn't even begin to wrap my brain around that whole situation she went through. It was absolutely horrifying.
