I'm aware that everyone's first instinct is to bomb everything because were America and we have bombs. As great as bombing might sound, it will only make matters worse. If you actually pay attention to the news, you'll find that thousands of young women and children were taken captive by ISIS to become slaves. So when you think you're dropping a bomb against ISIS, your're really dropping a bomb on ISIS and thousands of innocent civilians. People also have the idea to go knocking on there door with big guns. Well lets review history. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq. These are all places America has been to and lost thousands of lives and billions of dollars. When we went to go hunt down Al-Qaeda, it cost America a lot of money. And there still roaming around. ISIS is a way bigger threat than Al-Qaeda ever was. Basically, you can bomb ISIS because it will create more problems.
Yes!!!! This is perfect!

DeleteYou can't bomb ISIS, but you have to do something. Like you said, "thousands of young woman and children were taken captive by ISIS to become slaves." They won't just stop. If we don't do something then they will keep taking innocent lives and in the end it might take less lives if we end it sooner rather than later. I don't have the exact, end-all, be-all plan to take down the biggest terrorist group in the world, but neither do you. I'm assuming that neither of us have any experience whatsoever in military strategy (other than maybe COD), so really it is up to the military to decide.
