Human trafficking is a multi-billion dollar global business. It is not confiined to one or a few regions, but is everywhere including the U.S. The majority of its victims are young girls and women forced into sexual slavery. Such victims are often lured by thoughts of money, debt, or guilt instilled by their captors. Most of the enslaved dont really know that there situation is as bad as it is, especially if they have been in captivity since they were very young. This causes far too many cases to go unreported.
