Points of View From an Optimist
If you read any of my posts you should know clearly that i'm an Optimist. If you don't know what an Optimist is i'll give a brief description, An Optimist is person who believes in pretty much everything, or who says that everything is right and wrong at the same time. So for example, What a Christian believes in is right and wrong. I see everything as an opportunity to become better than myself. I use every bit of knowledge to my advancement. Something a lot more touchy than Christianity. What Hitler did was right and wrong. Now don't hate me because of that. Hitler unified his people under one cause, for most people that cause is immediately notified as being terrible, but I don't. Hitler used this cause to make his people happy. He gave them money, power, even purpose. During WW2 the economy of Germany boomed. Inflation was no longer a problem. Why? Because Hitler used his cause as a way to improve this. Yet what Hitler did was also terrible. He killed millions of people just because of their religion. He persecuted these people, tortured them, made them inhuman. He made their lives a living hell, but for everyone else in Germany who wasn't Jewish prospered and their lives got a hundred times better. What Hitler did was amazing for the non Jewish population of Germany. What he did to the Jewish population was terrible. He did something so terrible to do something so good. Do you understand now? Everything that happens is good and bad, nice and mean, cool and stupid, there is no or. Or is for people who can't see both sides. Or is for people who don't understand why i'm saying what i'm saying. I never use the word or anymore. It has no meaning. Here, give me a Challenge. Reply to this with something you'd like to see from both sides. The good and the bad. I'll make sure to reply to every comment and ones that tickle my fancy more than the others I might even make a full post about it. So please do that. Again, as usual, I want to hear every opinion on my opinions. I have a feeling that someone isn't going to understand what I just said and get real mad at me for making Hitler look like a good guy.
Favorite Song/Favorite Genre of Music/Favorite Band
I know I've already posted this before, but I just want to revitalize it since people seem to be on here much more now and also I just love necro-ing topics. ♥

After Reading This Amazing Story Your Life Will be Changed Forever
You just got Click Baited. Click Baited? What's that? Click Baiting is a tactic used by news outlets and journalists everywhere to bring people into reading their post of buying their paper. The title usually has nothing to do with what is really in the article. Take what I just did to you for example. If you clicked then you did their job for them. So thanks for doing my job for me! I don't have to say anything about what was in the title. Click Baiting is over used and quiet annoying tactic to get people to read or buy something. So next time you see something like this don't click on it ok?

Suicides
So this past week I've had two adults in my life who have had rough weeks because they found out that previous 'students' of theirs had committed suicide. As someone who has contemplated suicide and dealt with depression myself, I understand what it's like. It's the worst thing a person can feel. I want anyone who is struggling with depression and/or contemplating suicide to know that it does get better. There are people out there who truly know and understand how you feel. I was lucky enough to have one of my best friends help me through that time in my life and it brought me closer to them. Anyone who isn't dealing with depression, and anyone who is, watch your friends. Pay attention to their moods and know the signs of depression. Sometimes the people who struggle are the people you least expect. I know it sounds like something we're told in class, but usually all someone needs is a friend. Someone to listen to them and help them. Don't take happiness for granted and be there for others who need you.
Capcom Japan Doesn't Understand
Capcom Japan doesn't understand one bit. Maybe you heard that Capcom Japan has been removing videos from YouTube for using the new Trailer for Street Fighter: V. All the people who used the trailer in their video had authorized use of it, and most of the videos posted with the trailer where very positive saying that they really enjoyed the look of the game and where excited to get their hands on it. But Capcom Japan doesn't get it. They gave the trailer to a little more than 100 people on YouTube to show. Doing this should have made the game highly noticed and lead to people studying and searching the game and maybe even preordering it. But no, Capcom Japan decided to rip it from everyone's eyes and ears. The video I watched by AngryJoe made me aware of the game. It even got me interested in the game, so I went on searching about that game, and guess what? I found nothing because Capcom Japan was taking down websites and journals and videos about the trailer or game. Capcom Japan doesn't understand what a great marketing tool YouTube is. Games like Destiny used YouTube in the best marketing way possible, constantly posting trailers of the game and showing new and interesting tid bits about it. This advertising campaign and the beta made me decide to buy the game. I got my money's worth with destiny, putting in a little more than 100 hours into the game in less than a month. A lot of people got outraged by what Capcom Japan did, i'm obviously one of them. Even though this didn't impact me directly, it got me made. The amount of stupidity that Capcom Japan has is ridiculous. Another good example of a company properly using YouTube as a marketing tool would have to be Ubisoft on FarCry 4. They gave the game early to over 100 highly popular YouTubers and let them do the advertising for them. Capcom Japan doesn't understand that at all. If I hadn't seen on of these YouTubers play this game I never would have bought it. It's more likely now that i'm not going to buy Street Fighter: V because of this. It also doesn't help that Capcom cut off 1/3 of their player base. The game isn't coming to Xbox. Sorry guys, really am, what they did is complete bull. Street Fighter: V is supposed to have cross platform play meaning that the people on PC and PS4 can play with each other. This sounds great right? Yeah it does, but there is one problem, no one on Xbox can play this game, cutting off 1/3 of the people you would've originally been able to play with. Most people are saying that " the game wouldn't even exist if Sony hadn't stepped in and gave Capcom the money to make the game" that's also bull. Why? Because Capcom sold a total of 7.9 million copies of Street Fighter: IV. That's a lot of money made right there. So there's no way that Capcom didn't have the money to make the game, they obviously did. So i'm wondering why? Why take the money from Sony? That I sadly don't have the answer to. Whatever the amount of money that Sony gave to Capcom could've easily been made in sales to Xbox owners. So by doing all of this Capcom has cut 1/3 of the sales they could've made, made it impossible to find the trailer of the game, made it impossible for people to figure out if they actually want to get the game, and pissed of millions of people. GG Capcom, GG. You really done it now. It also doesn't help that Capcom already has a pretty bad rep when it come to gamers. Here's an idea Capcom, let the trailer back on YouTube, give back all the money you stole from the YouTubers, and use YouTube as a marketing tool ok? Not that hard right? It sure is for Capcom apparently. Again I want to hear all opinions on this.

I'm the only one who talks about gaming. So i'm this is going to be rather short. I want everyone who reads this to comment about something gaming related or strictly gaming. Got it? Good. Now do it.
Stories of Human Trafficking
This is NOT the original wildcat18 because I was unable to have my own personal account on blogger, so just know this is SJB18, NOT wildcat18 and I will let you know when it is me! :)
The source I will be attaching to this blog is a source that can be used for more than one personal story. I personally am using this article to provide more then one/different cases of human trafficking. I am using more then one of these brief little stories to show in my project that there is more to human trafficking than just being sold for sex. The stories in this article provide domestic servitude, sexual exploitation, forced labor, etc. etc. I hope this helps!

Reasons why you can't just bomb ISIS
(this is a guest, not JDM_Fa5)
I'm aware that everyone's first instinct is to bomb everything because were America and we have bombs. As great as bombing might sound, it will only make matters worse. If you actually pay attention to the news, you'll find that thousands of young women and children were taken captive by ISIS to become slaves. So when you think you're dropping a bomb against ISIS, your're really dropping a bomb on ISIS and thousands of innocent civilians. People also have the idea to go knocking on there door with big guns. Well lets review history. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq. These are all places America has been to and lost thousands of lives and billions of dollars. When we went to go hunt down Al-Qaeda, it cost America a lot of money. And there still roaming around. ISIS is a way bigger threat than Al-Qaeda ever was. Basically, you can bomb ISIS because it will create more problems.

I have been researching Indonesian Religious freedom that has been taken away recently by police officers and government officials, and the best sources i have found are:

Human trafficking is a multi-billion dollar global business. It is not confiined to one or a few regions, but is everywhere including the U.S. The majority of its victims are young girls and women forced into sexual slavery. Such victims are often lured by thoughts of money, debt, or guilt instilled by their captors. Most of the enslaved dont really know that there situation is as bad as it is, especially if they have been in captivity since they were very young. This causes far too many cases to go unreported. In fact, there are more people in slavery today than there were at the height of the transatlantic slave trade. Here is a source of good and alarming information

"Devil's Breath"
There is a drug called Burundanga, better known as Scopolamine to treat motion sickness and anxiety. In Colombia, it is known as "Devil's Breath." This drug is terrifying. It is said to take away your memory and your free will. It is odorless and tasteless, and extremely easy to give to someone unsuspectingly. Victims have helped their attackers rob themselves under the influence of Burundanga. There are some really good sites and videos out there about this drug and how it affects people. The link I have posted below should have an option to translate once you click on it. This drug is very interesting and we need to learn as much as we can about it because it is making its way into the hands of multinational drug cartels...and one of the first places it will likely show up is in the US.

Human Rights in Myanmar
Human Rights in Myanmar are worse than ever. They have zero rights whatsoever, this includes no property rights, cannot have a higher education rights, no identification cards, they are also subject to curfew, and lastly are not allowed to have a government position. To contradict the matter they also have the world's most free press. Taking human rights away is inhumane and just morally wrong.
(Phillips, Alexandra. "The world's blind spot: shedding light on the persecuted."Harvard International Review 35.2 (2013): 31+. Opposing Viewpoints in Context. Web. 7 Dec. 2014.)
Children in cartel
" Mexico has a very high rate of school bullying. Many teachers, parents, and psychologists say it's connected to increased violence of the drug war. And it's not just that kids pick on each other more — the way they do it has changed, too, with children's games and bullying increasingly mimicking and glorifying organized crime" To me , this is the most interesting part of the my research. To read more about the drug cartel and the effects on children go on this link.

For those of you researching the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, here is a great article to maybe include into your paper. I just saw this article today and I feel like it can really help us keep up to date with the conflict and what is currently going on between the two nations. It includes Hillary Clinton's thoughts and feelings towards the conflict and tells how she thinks that there is still a way to resolve the conflict. Feel free to check it out!

North Korean Human Rights

If anyone is doing the human rights in North Korea this is a credible source and very helpful. It is written by a man who is the only person born into and to escape a prison camp. If you don't have a personal story yet, or you want some more inside information, i recommend this source to you.

Bosnian Genocide personal story
Hey guys, I've found some good sources about the Bosnian Genocide but just a day ago, I found an amazing personal story that I will definitely be using for my paper. Here's the link:
http://www.nbcnews.com/id/43272062/ns/world_news-europe/t/survivor-recounts-horror-bosnias-killing-fields/#.VIUKETFpe1w
Since this event occurred in the 1990's, this article in not super current (written in 2011), but the story is quite amazing and if you have time to check it out, I would encourage you to do so.
If you can't I'll give you a basic summary.
A man named Mevludin Oric was one of the only survivors to live through the genocide, and recounts his near death experiences and the terrible things he endured. This is written with "flash backs," because he is recounting what happened to him but in reality, he is sharing the story with his eldest daughter.
Human Trafficking
For anyone who is doing human trafficking, Global Issues is the place to go. I found an amazing story and some facts too... Yes this is a horrible topic, but I find this topic super interesting. What are some thoughts you guys have? What stories or information have you found?
More Talk About Games Media
Today's topics are: Australia K mart and Australia Target Remove GTA V From shelves, and Absolute Crap Ubisoft Releases.
If you didn't know K Mart Australia and Australia Target removed GTA V from their shelves. Why? Because some women, who have taken sexual violence or been a part of being sexually abused, made a petition saying and I quote "GTA V promotes violence against women, because by beating and killing a hooker after paying her for her work gives you health points." that quote is completely lying. You do get health for paying the hooker for her work, but not for killing her. The petition has a picture of a dead hooker lying on the ground covered in blood with a man holding a bloody ax. This can be done to any NPC in the game, not just the sex workers. The petition continues to go on about how this game promotes violence against women. The problem is that the petition was made on false grounds and a huge misunderstanding of the game mechanics. GTA V doesn't promote violence against women at all. The women who made this petition and the 256,000 people who signed it have no understanding of how the game actually works. GTA V allows the player to kill anyone in the game and in pretty much any way you want to. GTA V also has repercussions for killing people, the cops come after you after a certain amount of time and as you cause more mayhem more and more cops come to hunt you down. The AI for the cops is so intelligent that it's almost impossible to escape from them, so most of the time ending in your death. These people who made the petition and those who signed it obviously had no clue what the game was, they were mislead by what the petition was saying. I'd like to make a petition to get GTA V back of Australian shelves, but that won't likely happen.
Now Absolute Crap Ubisoft Releases. This year for Ubisoft games has been terrible. The ridiculous amount of bugs. glitches, and terrible optimization. For those of you who don't know Ubisoft has released 7 games this year. 7 games! All of them loaded with bugs, glitches, and false promises. I'll be using AC: Unity for most of this topic. AC: Unity had the worst release of any AC game I have ever seen. The game runs a solid 22 fps on nextgen consoles and can barely get over 50 fps on two SLI'd GTx 980s. This game, along with the terrible frame rate, has a serious amount of bugs and glitches. One of the most famous glitch being the Faceless NPC glitch. This glitch made all of the NPCs in the game have no face. It's really funny the first time you see it, but after more and more NPCs get this glitch it ruins the game. You can no longer appreciate the hard work the animators put in to make the faces. The animations in this game are so well done that once this glitch spreads through out your game the game becomes almost unplayable. A lot of the other glitches include, Micro stutter, bad texture pop in, falling through the map, becoming invincible, the NPCs becoming invinsible, a guide stopping and never moving so the game can't progress, the saves becoming corrupted, saves being deleted, missions becoming incomplete-able due to certain NPCs not loading or objects not loading, input and output delays. I could go on and on about this but I think you get the point. Along with AC: Unity, all the other games that Ubisoft released had some terrible glitches and bugs. I would list those but I think AC: Unity proves my point pretty thoroughly. This shouldn't be happening at all. Games should be completed before release. People should stop buying these games and preordering games and wait for reviews for these games to come out. I don't preorder games unless iv'e played the Beta or Alpha for free and if the Beta of Alpha was actually good. All other games I wait for reviews to come out, then judging by what the reviewer said I may or may not buy the game. Everyone should be practicing this. This would stop the release of buggy and glitchy game releases. Why? Because if you preorder a game the company that is making the game already gets your money, so they can do anything they want. Again i'd like to hear your thoughts on these subjects.

Guantanamo Bay
Hello! I've been researching Guantanamo Bay and the torture going on within the prison. As many of you know, yesterday the CIA released a report on torture methods being used. How do you feel about what is going on and what is your opinion on Guantanamo? Is it beneficial or does it need to be shut down for good?

You know guys. Human rights is a big deal everywhere. Honestly, you guys take human rights for granted. I grew not having any, so I know just how bad it can get. However, I do know that if we band together as brothers and sisters, that we can give the people their basic human rights that they deserve just like us.

Why You Shouldn't be Afraid of Nuclear Bombs
You want to know why you shouldn't be afraid of nuclear bombs? Because of Kinetic Bombardment. What's Kinetic Bombardment? Thanks for asking. Kinetic Bombardment is the code name, or just regular name, of a system that uses satellites to drop Tungsten rods from earth's orbit. Rods? What will that do? They aren't even bombs. Yeah, they aren't bombs and that's the bad thing. A bad thing? Yeah, a really really bad thing. Why? Because these rods won't detonate in mid drop pattern. They also won't melt when they break through the atmosphere. Tungsten is an element that has the highest melting point of any other element. These rods aren't something you want to have dropped on your head! These rods do more damage than a nuclear bomb without the explosion or radiation. Amazing right? Right. These rods create a seismic wave so powerful that it would literally lift skyscrapers out of the ground, that is, if the thing could even stand the initial impact. These rods are so powerful that the hole they'd create would be be over 2 miles deep and over 20 miles wide. If you think that was scary, then you might want to get a new pair of underwear. These things are unstoppable. They can't be shot down. They travel so fast that any AA ( antiair) couldn't shot them down. Well, Why not shot down the satellite? That's on the brink of also being impossible. These satellites could move on a dime and in split seconds. These Kinetic Bombardment systems can launch these rods where ever they want and with amazing precision. Say, you wanted to destroy New York, not the city but the state, all you need to do is move the satellite over New York, put it in a opposite rotation of the the earth and drop about two or three of these bad boys and BAMM, New York is gone. It would only take a few seconds. Just imagine that. An entire state gone in seconds. Millions dead in seconds. Again i'd like to hear other opinions or stats on this.

Human Rights in North Korea
People are being neglected by their own country. The fact that just because they want to make a statement out of it, they are being sent to prison camps where they'll either die of starvation, lack of support, or a disease. However since North Korea wanted to focus more on their nuclear situation and not draw any attention away from it, they basically ignored the big problem with their own people. They are letting children and elders starve and are refusing help with food situations from other associations. People who attempt to spread the issue are sent to these death camps, such as Newscaster and Newspapers. Anything that spreads information.
Rise of ISIS
Many citizens of the US, thinking that it doesn't affect us at all, are very against our country getting involved in a war against the Islamic State. However, when thought of as a war against brutality and terror, they may change their minds. ISIS has beheaded several US, Britain, and other NATO country's citizens. They not only recorded these videos, but sent tapes to the US. These videos have caused citizens to feel unsafe, and sacred; terrorized them. This was exactly the Islamic State's intention. In addition to preforming these beheadings, ISIS has been making billions of dollars in the oil industry. So, if a multi-billion dollar organization in terrorizing our country, why would we not fight back?
Women's Rights in the Congo
I'm doing my paper on women's rights in the Congo and one of the largest problems there seems to be is rape. On multiple different sources I've seen rape called part of the culture. To me this seems like they are being insulted. Having something like rape be seen as common and even normal is astounding to me. I didn't even know this was and issue. What shocked me even more was that rape is now seen as a weapon to use against the people. By doing this they are able to make people fear them. Women who are raped are often made an outcast from their families, community, and husbands. Is anyone else doing this topic? And if so, how do you feel about rape becoming a tactic of war?
Russian Orphanages
I find this topic extremely interesting. Upon my research, I have found that Russians ultimately view Americans as savage people, only looking to abuse and/or kill their foreign children, and occasionally sell their organs and such for money. 19 Russian children have died among adopted families, and unfortunately Russia has made a HUGE deal about it. When in fact, over 1,000 adopted American children in Russia have died. But nowhere does it say that Russians are forbidden to adopt, because although death has come upon some children, the rest have a family that loves them. America has the sense to realize that happy endings are a chance, and sometimes things don't work out. But they aren't going to put thousands of children's futures on hold to justify the death of a few kids who ultimately have no impact on them. Overall I think Russia is being very immature about the situation, and it has more bad consequences than good ones.
Human Rights in General
Researching the human rights violations has made me so grateful for everything I am able to have and do as an American. You always hear people talking about how great it is to live in this country, and now I am starting to fully understand. This project has already impacted me and I'm very happy with how my research is going. Even if you don't have a topic regarding human rights, I encourage you to research the violations in countries such as China and North Korea. It puts into perspective how lucky we are as Americans and helps us (well, me at least) better understand what it means to be free.
Political and Human Rights in North Korea
The 1990's is the descending point of political and humanist rights for the citizens of North Korea, from this point on everything started to roll down hill. North Korean citizens are sent to hard labor political prisons. These so called "Political Camps"were mainly for the people who stepped out of their way to make a point to the government. Such as Newscasters, Radio, Newspaper editors are sent to these political camps along with their families to suffer and die from starvation and neglected.
Human Rights in North Korea
Human rights in North Korea almost don't exist in the country any more. North Koreans ae restricted and are forced to have limited knowledge of the outside world. All radio stations, newspapers, and magazines that are foreign are completely forbidden in North Korea. All of the people must follower their leader, Kim Jong-un. All church sermons are restricted to preach about the leader, not god. Anyone who tries to leave North Korea and is caught, will either be killed or put into their 'Political' camps, (most would know these camps by, Concentration camps). If one is caught in a crime, not only the committee but his/her spouse, children, and even grand children to the camps as well. this practice is called, Three Generation of Punishment. North Koreans hardly have and human rights anymore, and a famine is also slowly spreading across the country. IF we could help these people, why are we not helping them? Is there anything we can really do? Innocent North Koreans are dying everyday for another's wrong act, and end needs to be put to it.
Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
The topic I chose for my research project is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I chose this because I have seen many things about it on the world/national news and I've wanted to know more about it and what exactly the conflict is. I have learned that this is an issue that has been going on for several years. It started out as a battle over land in Israel and Palestine, but now it has escalated to a religious war. There have been very violent acts going on such as the Palestinians' terrorist attacks against Israel and the targeting of the holy sites in Jerusalem. As many people probably know, the United States are somewhat allies with Israel and a goal of mine is to find out what we as a country are doing to try to help them out. The discrimination between Israel and Palestine is a huge part of this religious war and this conflict. Unfortunately, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict may go on for awhile until they seek the solution to end the religious dispute and bring peace to those nations.
Kidnappings in Latin America
Does anybody else have Kidnappings in Latin America as their topic? I have found a ton of information while researching and wanted to see if anyone has any other information. This topic is very interesting to learn about even though the facts are sad. The number of kidnappings that occur in Latin America is hard to hear about because their police force is not as great as we have and a lot of their kidnappings get unanswered. They are left without help in finding these innocent people. While researching, I also learned the different types of kidnappings which was new to me, so I found that very fascinating to learn about, even though it's not a positive topic. Thoughts?
Greater Dangers
I feel like researching human trafficking has made me a lot more aware of how real this issue is worldwide. I have heard bits and pieces about it here and there via social media but digging more deeply into this topic has almost forced me to think a little more cautiously in some sense. Although it is very widespread in other countries, trafficking also runs rampant in the United States. I wouldn't say it's making me paranoid but I have been more aware of my surroundings ever since I found out how common human traffickers are here. The whole threat of human trafficking is a very real matter, and I've discovered this by reading extremely detailed and not to mention horrifying personal stories. This project is sort of opening my eyes to greater dangers and for that I'm glad I decided to learn about trafficking.
Bosnian Genocide
After the Holocaust in Germany that left over 6 million people, mainly Jews, murdered, people were convinced something like this couldn't ever happen again. Countless charities and awareness programs were created, and since, everybody has liked to think that our world had changed for the better. Unfortunately, that was far from the truth.
In 1992, a new war started in the Yugoslav region that turned into a massacre. One of the main people involved was Slobodan Milosevic, the new Serbian president. His goal was to "free" the Christians in Bosnia. His rise also brought a rise in tensions among different republics, and these tensions led to many countries seceding from Yugoslavia and creating new nations. The "freedom" for some would come at a costly price for the many Bosniaks, Bosnian Muslims, scattered throughout the nation. The Bosnian Serb army closed in around the capital, Sarajevo, and concentration camps were set up. Women and girls were bused to these camps while men and boys of "fighting age" were immediately massacred. Almost no survivors remain, and this event reminds the hopefuls that bad things still happen, and evil still unfortunately exists today.
So, what can we do to prevent these terrible things from happening again? In truth, we may never be able to completely stop them. Education is probably one of the most important ways to stop this, in my opinion. Why? Because hate generally stems from ignorance, we are afraid of the unknown and feel the need to push it away. In reality, people are people no matter their ethnicity or religion.

Russian Orphanages
My topic of study is Russian Orphanages, and to be completely honest...the stories that are being told give me chills. They tell of children with disabilities getting abused not only physically but emotionally too. Most are denied proper nutrition...not to mention they are kept in constant isolation. So I asked myself, why would someone put their child in this situation? And sadly I found my answer. When a child is born in Russia, the doctors examine it and determine its state of health. But if the doctor finds one flaw, one single clue to the child possibly having a disability...they tell the parents to put that child up for adoption. Now, something I'm failing to understand is that Russia banned any Americans from adopting children from Russia, because the government wants more Russians to adopt. Well, why would they adopt if they are the ones that gave up the children in the first place. I would love to hear others thoughts and feelings towards this topic! Feel free to share...
Drug Cartels in Mexico- Effects on Schools
For my topic I'm doing drug cartels in Mexico. The topic itself is really interesting but them I came across an article and it was saying how people are smuggling weed from the united states into mexico. I thought it was weird how things were turned around. Also i saw an article talking about how it effects children and I plan on making on talking about it inn my paper. it was saying how in schools the bullies act as drug leaders. like they have organized "crime" in elementary schools. for example, the older kids act as the "leaders" and will send the middle aged kids to the playground to collect money from the little kids in order to allow them to play on the playground. and if the little kids refuse, they'll get beaten up. that's insane how much its effecting schools. they literately have their own form of mini drug cartels in the school. did anyone else see something like this while researching?
Secret CIA Prisons
The CIA started to create secret prisons in European and Middle eastern/African countries after the tragedy that was 9/11. These prisons where host to terrorism suspects and were often subject to very extreme form of torture such as mock executions and water boarding. The prisons were held in Lithuania, Djibouti, Afghanistan, Poland, and possibly Romania. There were said to be seven countries that hosted these prisons and the UN and Europe's highest human rights court is on a witch hunt for the last two countries.
Human Trafficking
The topic i have been researching has been terribly awful. From reading about it more human trafficking is a disgusting thing. I've been reading more on the sex slave side more than the drug or labor side. I found this story about a girl name Srey. She was sold by her family at the age 6 in cambodia. I found the story disgusting. It breaks my heart that little girls are trafficked all over the country. I have 2 little sisters about her age, so this story goes to heart. Yes there are hotlines and fundraisers to help these people, but will it ever be able to save over 23 million people?
Talking about games media
Talking about games media is surprisingly touchy. There's so much to talk about, so much controversy. "Why?" you might be asking, since not much people ravel in the world of games media much don't know about feminist backlash or the "misrepresentation" of women in video games. Of late, the topic hasn't changed at all. With the recent release of Bayonetta 2 much talk of women in video games has sprung up. To give a quick rundown of Bayonetta 2, you play as a demonic women who uses her hair as a weapon to kill and destroy angles. Her hair also covers most of her body since it is also used as her clothing. So when attacking or using certain moves that Bayonetta does part of her hair, or clothes, come off her body revealing parts of her skin. As the moves or attacks become powerful the more hair, or clothes, come off due to the fact that her hair is her weapon. This sparked a lot of talk. Why? Because people are stupid, that's why. The whole point of the character is for her to be sexual. She uses her sexuality as a weapon of mass destruction, killing hordes of enemies in one foul swoop. She is one of, if not the most, powerful female in gaming history! She, along with some flawless game mechanics, make for an amazing game and story. But don't play the game because it shows parts of the women's body like "bewbs" right? Wrong. Just because some breasts are shown doesn't mean the game is bad or that is objectifies women. The main character, Bayonetta, is a really powerful woman who shows the power of a woman's sexuality. As a avid gamer who loves all sorts of video games I highly suggest that everyone gets this game. Sadly it's a WIIU exclusive, but the game never would have been made if Nintendo didn't step in. Again I want to know your thoughts on this subject.
Rise of IsIs
In the past years there was a small group of people that later became a worldwide known terrorist group. These people are upset and don't think what there people are doing is right so they retaliated and the outcome what they have done has impacted are world not only the neighboring countries. People should be aware what is happening not only in are country but what is happening in are world. This group has done some damage and we need to put and end to this. Everyone says the U.S needs to not get involved but when there recording are citizens being be-headed there needs to be a point were we step in. I'm afraid if we don't put this group to an end fast that their going to keep growing and it's going to get even harder to put this to an end. There trying to have total control, there trying to make people fear them and I'm sure some are but we should not fear them were way stronger and we need to go tell them who is boss.
human trafficking
Human trafficking is a world problem that is only getting worse, people are sold for sexual usage or manual labor ruining the lives of endless numbers of people. Most people don't think about it but anyone is in danger of trafficking and it needs to stop. We shouldn't have to live in fear of going somewhere alone, somewhere that might have someone planning on taking you. Yes i know it sounds like the movies but some of them are based on true stories and can very much happen. It's scary to think about but some people are just crazy.
Drug Cartels in Mexico
Drug cartels in Mexico are very bad because they capture and kill many Americans each year. The cartels are how Americans get drugs they want. If the cartels didn't exist then there probably wouldn't be a big demand for drugs in the U.S. The drug cartels are very violent, they cut off peoples heads and leave them on the streets in Mexico so people will see here terrible crimes. They also post pictures of there crimes on social media. The drug cartels are very bad and we need to find a way to get them arrested and end this problem.
Riots in Ukraine
In early 2014, Ukrainians had been fighting over the deal that wasn't made with the European Union. Their president Victor Yanukovych said he would make a deal with the European Union, but he backed out at the last minute and started to favor a deal with Russia. Protests and anger built from this idea of betrayal. The people wanted a change. They knew they had to stand up and fight for what they thought was right instead of waiting for something to happen.
Death Penalty in Mongolia
So, I'm a big fat tree hugger, and I value every aspect of human life. Like, I don't even like to kill bugs. Unless they're ants...I hate ants. But anyway, the main problem I have with death penalties, is since when did it become acceptable for one human to decide another human's fate? I mean, I think life in prison is way more harsh than being killed. Like, when someone is killed, what kind of peace of mind does that bring? Given, I've never been in a situation where someone did something to me or a loved one that made me wish they were dead. But if something like that ever did happen, I'd just hope that the mindset I have now would continue to influence my choices, rather than me making irrational decisions out of anger. I just feel like human life should be valued. And if you really want someone to suffer for their crimes, just killing them isn't the way to do it. Maybe torture lol but isn't being locked inside a cell from all outside contact torture enough? I just think it's inhumane, killing people for their crimes. But yeah.
Human Trafficking
Human trafficking isn't one of the most common issues you normally hear about on the news. Yet, in the US and many other countries around the world, it is a growing problem. Young, old, boy, girl, black skin, white skin, any of these characteristics follow those of whom a person would purchase. Hundreds of people are trafficked everyday whether it be for manual labor or for sexual exploitation. Some are given to help pay for their poor families, and others are taken without any say from them or their families. As of now, there are many anti-trafficking safe houses where people are rescued and put forth to a better life, one day I believe there will be more of these than trafficking industries.

Ferguson, Police Brutality, and Eric Garner
Recently, there have been controversial events, like the Mike Brown and Tamir Rice cases, that have been making people scrutinize the police force and police and whether or not it is a problem here in America. Another event that has recently happened is the Eric Garner case. This case has been causing a stir in social media. One of the trending topics was #CrimingWhileWhite. People were saying all these crimes they've committed that they might not have gotten away with if they were black, implying white privilege in America. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with this, but any thoughts on everything that's been going on?
Gay Rights in Cameroon
For my project, I chose the topic of Gay Rights in Cameroon. Gay rights everywhere are a very controversial issue due in part to religious and other personal beliefs, but as I've done my research, these laws are far worse than anything in the western world and all reasoning for it is not only completely unjustified but shows the complete and utter lack of understanding for Christian and Islamic teachings.
First we should focus upon the strict laws in Cameroon. Long prison penalties and fines are not uncommon for homosexuality as well as being discriminated. Scratch that-- discrimination is too nice. Those in Cameroon who come out will be under the threat of death from common hate crimes in the country. These seem rather tame compared to laws in Uganda, where some acts can be punishable by a life sentence or death. Each country also practices public whippings for the offenders.
One doesn't even need to be seen preforming a homosexual act to be changed with it. One man was punished merely for buying a cream liquor, which was seen as a "women's drink."
These laws aren't even due to simply the Sharian law codes, they're simply ways for politicians to earn easy votes. The very homophobic public wishes to make them suffer, so if a leader is willing to enforce these huge violations of human rights will be elected in more easily.
These laws are also "supported" by the belief that homosexuality is merely a western fad.
No.
Evidence of it dates back to 2500 BC with the Egyptians, two men painted in various positions the Egyptians used to show a couple in love. After a bit of research, every culture on Earth has a history of gay people, many of which were widely accepted. The culture that began the penalties was actually the Romans.
Not only that, many animals can be in homosexual relationships, such as penguins.
Now, some may continue to back this up with support of the bible saying it a sin. This is true, but there's many other things one must look at. First off, the bible has been translated time after time after time, and if you've ever used Google translate, you can see how meanings can quickly be changed. Not only that, the bible was written by man and some things may have been added simply because of the authors personal beliefs.
Even if it was a sin, those who hate gay people and discriminate against them are sinning as they do. The bible also says "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her" John 8:7. his means only those who have not sinned may judge and punish another. The bible also says one must "love thy neighbour as thyself" Matthew 22:39. Whether you agree with it or not, the bible does not justify discrimination against those who are gay. Jesus Christ taught to love everyone, even if they are a sinner, and a true Christian would follow that first.
The treatment of people in Cameroon and Uganda is sick and I feel that people should be informed of this topic. If you're doing it too I'd love to discuss it with you!
Human Rights Violations In China
I'd love to know if anyone else is doing this topic! I need some new ideas. Thank you for reading!!
Freedom of Religion in Indonesia
Hey, I'm trying to find someone who's doing the same topic as me so we could compare our facts and possibly give each other more ideas?
Does anyone watch The Walking Dead? If so, what did you think about the last episode? What do you like about the show? And what do you think is going to happen next when it comes back on in February? I personally LOVE The Walking Dead. It's such an intense and exciting show. I can't believe what happened in the last episode, never saw that coming. My favorite part about The Walking Dead would have to be how realistic everything/everyone looks! I think that's why it is so interesting to watch. Let me know your thoughts about it!!
Getting what you want
We all are in some way deceiving. It may be towards our parents, teachers, siblings, and maybe even coaches. Each of us have different ways. I, myself use techniques like bribing, and negotiating. For instance if a coach tells me to run 7 laps, i'll say "If i run 5 in less then 6 minutes, can i only run 5?" These types of things only occasionally work. What methods do you use? How well do they work?
The Problem With Hackers
You may or may not know that this week Sony was hacked. The hacker stole personal information about all the employees that work there, their job, the amount of money they make, and their ethnicity. That was the hacker's main point in hacking. To show how Sony isn't diverse. Sony isn't diverse? We should riot and boycott their products because they don't hire black people! Wrong. None of that matters. Why? Because Sony as a company is hiring the best employees available to them. If the white guy is better than thee black guy then the white guy is going to be hired, it's simple. This person's out rage and others about this same subject is stupid. Companies hire the best workers they have available to them. So what? The ethnicity of the worker or employee doesn't matter. All that matters is how good of a worker the employee is. It doesn't matter if they're black, white, Asian, Bi-sexual, gay or lesbian. Companies like Apple release a diversity report every year to show how diverse they are, which is a good a bad thing. Why? It's a good thing because it shows that Apple isn't racist and that they're hiring a lot of different people. It's also bad because there come a point where they hire a Russian who is less educated and under prepared for his or her job over the White guy who is prepared for his or her job and can do it well just because he or she is Russian, which is wrong. Companies should hire on the fact of the worker and how well the worker works.
What are your thoughts on this subject in general? I'd like to hear other peoples views on this.

Social Media on Ferguson
I meant to post this earlier, but I never got to it. But anyways, while I was looking through my twitter feed the other night when the Verdict about Ferguson came out saying that he would not be indited got me thinking. People in our society don't truly understand what is going on yet still think they should make ignorant comments about it. Everyone just does stuff to get attention and a few retweets and don't understand the extent of what they're saying or how it will effect other people. Like, people were tweeting things like "it's like rise of the planet apes in Ferguson right now". People don't understand how offensive that can be. It's almost 2015, racism shouldn't even be a thing anymore. I feel like people don't even think about what they post on social media anymore. they just do stuff to get attention and it makes me so mad that people are abusing social media and turning it into s negative thing.
