Hey, how about including some warrants--hint hint--as to why these are you favorite movies. One of my favorite movies of all time is Adaptation, which is literally a wild adaptation of Susan Orleans' rather tame book The Orchid Thief. Starring Meryl Streep (of course) and Nicholas Cage, this movie transcends the bounds of narrative fiction. Check it out. Yes, it was made in 2002 when you were maybe two.

I love Shawshank Redemption! My favorite movie is definitely V for Vendetta! It demonstrates how a corrupt and oppressive government can lead to unexpected consequences and national uprisings.
My favorite movie would have to Final Destination. It's story is rather bad, but interesting as well. It's more of a guilty pleasure, but I would watch it whenever it came on. It gives off a video game, seeing what will happen and then trip up or move the wrong person and fail.
I would have to agree with you n0thing that the Shawshank Redemption is phenomenal, but one of my favorite movies would have to be Alien vs. Predator.

ReplyDeleteHow about explaining why this is such a great movie? There was some controversy about this movie--did you happen to catch any of that?
