Today's Generation...
Im not one to throw bricks from behind a glass house, but there are so many concerns and issues in today's society, that need to be addressed. From social media sites like instagram and twitter to the education in our schools. What are some things you have noticed in today's society that concern you? For me, the biggest problem i have in our society are the social divisions that we face everyday. Racism, Sterotypes, and Generalizations are all things that divide us as humans. And i think its uncessary, we are all human.....at the end of the day.

I think one aspect of American society that bothers me the most is how we have become a "discard what you're not immediately attracted to or immediately need" society. From cellphones to cars to significant others to our own faces, we constantly usher in the new just because it's new and different, not because of wisdom or inherent value.
ReplyDeleteI feel as though the thing i have noticed the most is electronics in general. From your Ipod to your TV to your computer. People use these items more and more everyday. I've seen in our school that people will be on their phones instead of doing what they are suppose to be doing and I've certainly heard about all the video game playing, all the TV watching and much more that people are always talking about. They should be out enjoying the world not turning their brains to mush as they sit in front of an electronic.
