Favorite Type of Gaming

From the adventurous worlds to the grueling puzzles, gaming has been there whether it is on a board or a screen. To keep things interesting and not so narrow, what type of gaming do you prefer to play; Board, card, video, or just outside. Why is it your favorite? What type of genre is it? (Horror, Adventure, JRPG, etc) What's your favorite title of it?

  2. I am a video gamer. I am into the fps strategy and horror based free roam genres. With a name like Legion of course one of my favorite games is Fallout: New Vegas. It is a game that has everything i want. That's all for now so until next time "Awe True To Ceasar."

  3. I don't have a specific genre of gaming that i like more than the other. I enjoy all kinds of gaming and rather enjoy watching other people play games. Gaming as a media is huge, and will highly likely never fail. You might say " I don't play video games you, but i f*****g love Candy Crush" then i'd have to say " ya supa stoopid " and it's because you are. Candy Crush is a video game, it's just on your phone. Any form, be it on mobile, on a PS4, on a XBone, On a PC, or a Ouya it's still all gaming. And if you'd like to talk about how video gaming has impacted the media, our own lives, and the world around us then i could go on for hundreds of hours, but that's for a different time. So, my favorite game? Honestly, i got no clue. i'm obsessed with a game called Destiny. A loot and shoot, FPS, MMO, RPG, Created by the same gaming development company that made the ever so popular Halo series that, sadly, is now being made by 343 Industries. That again, is for another time, but Destiny, Have you played it? if you said "no" i'm just going to say one thing, get your ass off whatever the hell you're sitting on, and go play the damn game. It's so good. If you liked Halo, played Halo, or if you ever seen Halo, then you'd love this game. I would go it do great detail about the game, but again, that's for another time. P.S I would be a hole crap ton more vulgar but since i would like to continue to comment on such subjects and peoples ideas about said subjects, i can't.

    1. Great voice and name--but remember--you can be intelligent and passionate without peppering every sentence with vulgarities!

    2. It's great not to prefer a specific genre since you can enjoy all games equally. I would say keep in mind that video gaming had almost failed several years ago, but Nintendo was able to save the industry so I would never doubt failure. It's great to be very opinionated over the subject and I only have one of the four consoles that you've mentioned (I have a liking more towards the Nintendo platforms as well.) The statement of how much gaming impacts the world, I would think you've watched a lot of Game Theory.
While I have heard of Destiny and seen the gameplay, I have not played it and have almost no interest in it. Bungie is an amazing developer with a few quirks like no audio options, but I will not deny that they are quite big the industry. I have played Halo (All of them except four) just the problem I have with game is that it was over-hyped and actually lacked on what made some MMOs. I completely understand that you are passionate over this topic, I get very hyped up when it comes to certain games so I understand if you couldn't contain the excitement.

  4. Strategy games and FPS' are the main games I love to play. If I'm not reading then I'm playing steam games. I like some Xbox games as well. I like Call of Duty but prefer other games over it.

    1. What kind of Strategy? Truthfully I love strategy, though I play more of JRPG strategy like Fire Emblem. I see you also don't seem one-sided on how you play since someone usually shouts one over the other.

  5. I am AWFUL at video games (although I do enjoy Portal one and two along with Skyrim) but I really love brain teasers, board games, and chess. Really anything that involves strategy

    1. There is nothing wrong with being terrible at video games, may I ask if you have ever played D&D? The game does require a lot of thinking, but if you played Skyrim which is a western RPG, I think you would like that game for the nice mix.

    1. Minecraft is more of an adventure and sandbox, so I would suggest if you just got an xbox game to try something around those types. If you just want to try one type mixed with another, that would open up the types you wish to try more.

    2. LoZ is quite an amazing game series, while I have to go with the other on the N64, they are similar yet different for an adventure game which I can admit it's quite good.
