What are you thankful for?
Hey Ladies and Gents, seeing as it is getting fairly close to our beloved Turkey holiday, I felt it would be appropriate to remember the basic meaning of Thanksgiving: Thankfulness. If you're thankful for anything, here would be a great place to say it. I'll start. I'm grateful for my mom, who's math skills still allude me to this day. For my dad, who tries to be funny even when nobody understands his jokes. To my adorable yet slightly deranged canine who helps me find optimism in the hardest of times (aka finals week), and lastly for pop-tarts, which encourage me to get up every morning. So please share! Gracias!

What I am thankful for this year is having a great and supportive family and this year having all my family together on thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteIts hard to really just trullt be thankful in the moment for everything, but I try to be. I'm thankful for my amazing mother that does so much for my crazy family. Also my father who is amazing at cooking and provides for my family. I am thankful for my siblings (even though they can be the most annoying things EVER at times), my fluffy puppy whom isn't fluffy but is at heart, and the amazing sports and activities I can do because of the amazing people in my life that love and support everything. GOBBLE GOBBLE EVERYONE!!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for a lot of things! First things first, I want to say my friends. They are the best friends a person can ask for. They are so supportive and so amazing. They help no matter what situation you have found yourself in, and they grab a shovel and help dig you out. Secondly, I am thankful for my family, they are INSANE but so am I, so I am more then perfectly okay with them. They are also very supportive as well, if you come to them with a problem they will always help find a solution....after many sarcastic remarks that is. But they have solutions. Finally I'm thankful for my puppies, I claim to hate them...but in the end of the day, my days would be sad without all the barking and fetching. I'm so thankful for everything I am blessed with! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my neurons making chemical reactions. I am also thankful that I was born in a developed country, and have access (albeit limited) to the internet, and a bountiful supply of food and water. Finally,I am thankful for my family, and how supportive they are of me.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for my family and unconditional live and support they give me.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for everyone in my life who is there for me. Everyone who makes me smile when i'm down, everyone who is just there when I need someone. I'm thankful for my music and my cello. I'm thankful to be alive today. I'm just thankful for about almost everything.
ReplyDeleteThis year I am thankful for God's grace. I am thankful that he loves me so unconditionally that even when I continuously sin he forgives me before I even ask. I am thankful that even when I betray Him, even when I turn my back on Him, he still counts me as saved. I am thankful that he has made a place for me in heaven. I am thankful that God has blessed me with my talents. And last I am thankful that even those with faith as small as a mustard seed will be saved.
ReplyDeleteThis year I am most thankful for my mom more than anyone else. Over the past 2 years we have grown extremely close and I could not be more grateful that I have the relationship I have with her. She has overcome so much in her life and is a great role model for me and my siblings. I am also extremely thankful for the rest of my family and all the friends that area apart of my life . Overall it's been a great year and I'm extremely lucky/thankful for every aspect of my life.
ReplyDeletei am thankful for my family and friends. Also for all the people serving in our military and allow us to have freedom.
ReplyDeleteOn Halloween, one of my best friends passed away in a car accident. So, this year i am thankful for getting to know such a beautiful and caring friend. Even though it was for a short tine, i a forever greatful she could be a part of my life.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for all of the people who i'm not related to, who are my family. The friends that spend weekends upon weekends at your house, and who never really go home. I'm thankful for the broken family who lived with us for weeks while they figured things out. I'm thankful for the people who after they move away, still remain second parents to you and try so hard to visit for any holiday they can get off of work for. I'm thankful for the people that I'm not stuck with because we're related, but I choose to be stuck with them anyways.
ReplyDeleteIm thankful for being back with my dad, and reuniting with my brothers and sisters. I haven't seen them for almost 6 years and i finally get to live with them it was our first thanksgiving and its gonna be our first christmas together im soo excited:)
